Crown’s rehab team has consistently proven their expertise in the area of sub acute and posttraumatic rehabilitation.  Goals for our short term residents are to assist them to regain function and strength, reduce pain and enable them to return home and to maintain the function and independence of our long term residents.

Every resident attending rehab at Crown is individually evaluated using our unique outcome projections tool.  As goals and their plan of care are developed, each resident’s level of endurance is considered.  Strengths and limitations are identified and a program is tailored to their abilities.

Crown is equipped  with the newest equipment to enable our residents regain independence and complete activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, eating, getting in and out of a bed or chair, using the bathroom and cooking.  Our state-of-the-art studio apartment enables our residents to practice skills they will need when they return home.  Crown Nursing’s Occupational Therapists assist our residents, short term or long term, to relearn and regain independence and to adapt activities to their capabilities.
